Avoid: The Prophet of Yonwood by Jeanne Duprau

I was quite disappointed with The Prophet of Yonwood. It is the third in a series written by Jeanne Duprau and is the prequel for The City of Ember. At first, after I looked at a couple of book reviews about it and skipped it and the rest of the series went on as normal. The book reviews I read said that the book was boring, had nothing to do with the rest of the series until the last page and made fun of God. When I finally decided to read it, I only got two chapters in and found not only all the book reviews accurate but I that the book was quite frightening. It had a lot of dark themes. Consequently, I didn't finish the book.
