Summary:

Both girls, standing in the airport on their way to summer vacation, saw each other at the same time and both thought they had nothing in common. Sam, short for Samantha, was on her way to Ontario to stay with her Grandma's friend, who owned a book store. Alex, short for Alexis, was also on her way to Ontario to stay at a Horse Farm. After both girls, much to their dislike were seated together on the plane they began to realize that after first glances they did have a lot in common. They were both going away to Guelph. They had never seen their hostesses in Ontario. They both hated where they were going. But that's not all. Alex hated horses but loved reading and Sam hated reading but loved horses. When they learned this they decided on a daring plan. They would switch summers. Alex would be Sam and Sam would be Alex. They would do this without telling anyone. Everything went well for a couple of weeks but soon their secret is in danger. Can they hide their true identity? Will they get found out and in trouble? Is it possible for someone to save them?

Word of Caution:

Two swear words are in this book, Bloody Hell and Holy Smoke.

Positive Notes:

This book is a fun, hilarious, mischievous, sad, and sweet story of two young girls trying to have fun in a circumstance they don't want to be in. These two young girls know they have feelings and opinions just like adults and should be able to make choices on their own. This is a fun book with a perfect ending all girls will enjoy.

Who:

Great for girls age 8-12.
